- Description
-
On the day of a rank-taking, pigs to be donated to the rank aspirant are kept in a small enclosure called an 'aratata.' Removing a pig from the enclosure always is difficult. A man has placed a 'liana' or 'busrop' noose around a pig's neck. With the help of friends, he will lift the pig over the top of the 'aratata.'
