Marge Bradner at the helm of the Schooner DWYN WEN, wife to Scripps Institution of Oceanography Dr. Hugh Bradner. She helped him with his scientific studies during this voyage. Later she would write about her experiences, titled "Seismic Summer : the story of eleven men and one woman sailing across the South Pacific to study the quivering sea floor." Circa 1963.
