- Note
-
Sale Vuza (usually written Vouza) from Guadalcanal, became famous as a World War II hero. He talks about this, and interesting things about when he was head of Malaita's police in the 1930s, but Keesing is interested mostly in the part he played in the 1927 punitive expedition. This is in archaic Pijin. David Akin has transcribed it in both the original Pijin and English. Copies are in the Keesing Papers.
Recording continues on Keesing Reel-to-Reel 069.
