José Espinosa, Brother-cousin of Vicente. Age about 60. A somewhat less reliable informant. "Chief" of the Kiliwa in 1928, but deposed by 1929 for violation of tribal custom of equitable division of income. Note clay pot (full of boiled beans when this picture was taken) in position for cooking, and characteristic use of trimmed juniper windbreak for hanging cloths, kitchen utensils, and so forth.
