Port side of the D/V Glomar Challenger (ship) as seen in drydock for much needed cleaning after several legs of the Deep Sea Drilling Project. The white and back speckle objects attached to various areas of the ship are barnacles whose removal was part of dry-dock maintenance and cleaning operation. 1979.
