State of the art well logger's downhole instrument computer console aboard the D/V Glomar Challenger (ship) during the Deep Sea Drilling Project. The electric well logging was used to determine the situ information on rock properties and fluids within the rocks. An electric sonde was lowered into the bore hole down the hollow drill string and recording would take place as it is gradually raised within the hole. 1978.
