\nThis image is part of a large collection of immunohistochemistry images of cell-surface antigens generated by the SCGAP Urologic Epithelial Stem Cells (UESC) Project. The overall goal of the project is to characterize and isolate epithelial stem cell populations from two urologic organs, the prostate and bladder. Links are provided below for the UESC Project database, the entire human prostate immunostain summary, the CD13 immunostain summary, and information on the specimen that this image is from. Other images of CD13 human prostate immunostains are accessible following the group link."},"ITEMTYPE":{"onto_name":"recorded image","onto_id":"FBbi:00000265"},"CELLULARCOMPONENT":[{"onto_name":"nucleus","onto_id":"GO:0005634"},{"onto_name":"cell surface","onto_id":"GO:0009986"}],"RELATIONTOINTACTCELL":{"onto_name":"cryostat-sectioned tissue","onto_id":"FBbi:00000027"},"SOURCEOFCONTRAST":[{"onto_name":"differences in adsorption or binding of stain","onto_id":"FBbi:00000598"},{"onto_name":"distribution of a specific protein","onto_id":"FBbi:00000597"},{"onto_name":"differences in intrinsic optical density","onto_id":"FBbi:00000602"}],"GROUP_ID":"10855","HUMAN_DISEASE":[{"free_text":"prostate adenocarcinoma"}],"TECHNICALDETAILS":{"free_text":"The \"Image ID\" for this image is provided in the Attribution section. \nComplete technical details available in the Protocol Section of SCGAP UESC website (link provided). Briefly, radical prostatectomy specimens were transverse-sectioned 3mm thick and tissue blocks were embedded in precooled OCT (Tissue-tek) medium. Frozen tissue blocks were thin-sectioned (5µ) and fixed in cold acetone. A monoclonal primary antibody (PharMingen) was used followed by a biotinylated secondary antibody. Bound antibody was detected using avidin-biotin-peroxidase (Vector Labs) and diaminobenzidine (DAB). Sections were lightly counterstained with hematoxylin. Images were acquired using a digital camera and either an Olympus BX41 or Olympus BH2 microscope."},"DATAQUALIFICATION":{"free_text":"RAW;intensitiesquantitation"},"TERMSANDCONDITIONS":{"free_text":"attribution_cc_by"},"IMAGINGMODE":[{"onto_name":"widefield illumination","onto_id":"FBbi:00000277"},{"onto_name":"bright-field microscopy","onto_id":"FBbi:00000243"}],"DIMENSION":[{"Space":{"Image_size":1600,"axis":"X"}},{"Space":{"Image_size":1200,"axis":"Y"}}],"NCBIORGANISMALCLASSIFICATION":{"onto_name":"Homo sapiens","onto_id":"NCBITaxon:9606"},"PREPARATION":[{"onto_name":"acetone fixed tissue","onto_id":"FBbi:00000004"},{"onto_name":"tissue in polyethylene glycol embedment","onto_id":"FBbi:00000022"}],"VISUALIZATIONMETHODS":[{"onto_name":"hematoxylin","onto_id":"FBbi:00000041"},{"onto_name":"primary antibody plus labeled secondary antibody","onto_id":"FBbi:00000156"},{"free_text":"3,3'-diaminobenzidine (DAB)"},{"onto_name":"horseradish peroxidase","onto_id":"FBbi:00000138"},{"free_text":"biotin-avidin amplification"}],"CELLTYPE":[{"onto_name":"endocrine-paracrine cell of prostate gland","onto_id":"CL:0002313"},{"onto_name":"basal cell of prostate epithelium","onto_id":"CL:0002341"},{"onto_name":"luminal cell of prostate epithelium","onto_id":"CL:0002340"},{"onto_name":"blood vessel endothelial cell","onto_id":"CL:0000071"},{"onto_name":"perineural cell","onto_id":"CL:0002576"},{"onto_name":"sheath cell","onto_id":"CL:0000618"},{"onto_name":"leukocyte","onto_id":"CL:0000738"},{"onto_name":"prostate stromal cell","onto_id":"CL:0002622"},{"onto_name":"smooth muscle cell of prostate","onto_id":"CL:1000487"}],"PATHOLOGICALPROCESS":{"onto_id":"DOID:prostate adenocarcinoma"}}},"Citation":{"Title":"Larry True, Eric Deutsch, Laura Pascal, Tracy Sherertz, Laura Walashek, David Campbell, Alvin Liu (2012) CIL:32537, Homo sapiens, endocrine-paracrine cell of prostate gland, basal cell of prostate epithelium, luminal cell of prostate epithelium, blood vessel endothelial cell, perineural cell, sheath cell, leukocyte, prostate stromal cell, smooth muscle cell of prostate.
