Description

Datasets from High Energy Wide Area Blunt Impact (HEWABI) specimens testing performed at UCSD between August and December 2019. Files herein include photos, videos, and test data collected (strain gauge, displacement and force) of two test locations on the structure: Loc3 (bay below passenger floor beam) and Loc4 (stringer below Loc3). Each of these locations was investigated via two specimens, impacted with different load levels to generate increasing damage states. In addition, CAD models are provided for fully-defined specimen geometry.
