About eScholarship

  1. Scope and Purpose

The UC San Diego Library is committed to supporting new models to share research, scholarship, and innovations in all academic subject areas, and in our own field of library science in particular. To share the applied research and innovations actively underway at the UC San Diego Library, staff is strongly encouraged to deposit their presentations and publications in the UCSD Libraries Section of UC's eScholarship.

Instructional materials fall outside the scope of UC San Diego Library eScholarship and may be submitted to the California Digital Library: Instructional Materials.

Submission to the Selected Faculty and Student Research Publications series will be administered by the Library Scholarly Communication Working Group.  Any questions can be sent to them here at LibScholComm@AD.UCSD.EDU

    eScholarship Responsibilities

LAUC-SD Research & Professional Development serves as the body to promote use of eScholarship and require all those who receive R&PD research or presentation grant funding submit their work to eScholarship.

A Site Administrator is tasked with approving self-submitted content within eScholarship.  The Content Monitor simply approves and does not review submissions.
