Geisel Library Building Special Closure 2015

The Geisel Library building will be CLOSED Monday, December 21, 2015 - Wednesday, December 23, 2015. This is in addition to closing during the campus-wide holiday Thursday, December 24, 2015 - Sunday, January 3, 2016.

We are taking the unusual step of closing Geisel these additional three days to make quick and concentrated progress on some particularly disruptive construction projects. These projects will impede access to parts of the Geisel building and in some areas create adverse environmental conditions including noise, poor air quality, and odors.

While access to the Geisel building itself will be unavailable on these three days, special arrangements will be in place to provide partial access to some Geisel collections and services. Access to online Library resources and services will be unaffected.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this special closing may cause. Faculty, staff, and students are strongly encouraged to plan their work accordingly.
