Laboratory data and photographs compiled by Erik Hohwü Christensen and related to the 1935 International High Altitude Expedition to Chile. The collection includes two sets of test results for exercise on a cycle ergometer, one set taken at sea level in Boston to acquire baseline data and the other set taken during the expedition at an altitude of 17,500 feet. Four mounted black-and-white photographs of the mountain Aucanquilcha and the surrounding Chilean Andes and a black-and-white slide of a mining car near the Ollague mine are also in the collection.
