Locus 162, Area A, STRUCTURE

Built-in entrance narrowing original wide entrance into NE chanber of gate structure -- Built entrance b/w passageway, NE chamber -- Represents stone-built narrowing of the original passage connecting the gate sructure passageway with the NE chamber. Contains entrance, preserved uo to the lintel and several courses beyond. Lintel cracked but complete. Eastern door frame -- No doubt later addition to original passage, abutts both the southern division wall between the two chambers and the eastern perimeter wall of the gate structure.
