WA (Wall) -- Wall - narrow, crude line of stones related to copper industry activity by the southern wall of the gateway complex. -- Wall - narrow, crude str b/w L56-57 -- Crudely built line of 5 stones, E-W axis limiting a copper smelting locale. -- Beneath layer of installtions 30, 31, 39, all of which represent the latest phase of occupation at the gateway complex immediate vicinity. L64 therefore is part of a

Area stratum IIb
Covered by the foundation bed for the later local copper production installtions. -- A layer containing considerable ammount of slag was found to the south of the wall. Reemains of a furnace fore copper smelting (L72) was found to the east. -- lower and earlier phase of occupation, also devoted to copper production, probably on a limited scale. Both phases post-date the main phase of occupation.
