This digital image is a surrogate of an item from the Edwin Cook Papers (Archive negative 2, Roll 9, Envelope 29-34, Frame 29)
"Yup, there he is. And that's Marylyn, the cockatou that we used to have. But they make a horrible amount of noise and are constantly defecating on everything so we sold her to the Destrict Officer at Mt. Hagen. Furniture handcrafted by Cook. A really affectionate bird, but I'm afraid you will have to do without a feather, there's a 100 pound fine for taking any feathers at all out of the territory, and no export permits for them." MSS187, Box 44, Folder 9.
